Bestowed with the rare and exotic Himalayan flora, the Valley of Flowers is a bouquet of nature peacefully snuggled in the West Himalayan region of Uttarakhand. The trek of Valley of flowers goes through dense forests, along with Pushpawati river and can be reached by crossing many bridges, glaciers and waterfalls on the way.

This glaring piece of nature is an Indian National Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site exhibiting plush meadows blossomed with endemic alpine flowers and diverse fauna in this valley.

Day 01 : Arrive in Delhi

 

Meet at “COMESUM RESTAURANT” outside Old Delhi Railway Station at 11 a.m. drive to rishikesh by chartered bus/car. Reach rishikesh check into hotel. Lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight in Hotel at Rishikesh.

 

Day 02 : Rishikesh - Joshimath

 

After an early breakfast drive towards Joshimath via holy confluences at Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag and Nandprayag. Evening arrival in Joshimath and check into the hotel. Evening stroll to the local market of Joshimath is mere fun. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 03 : Joshimath - Govindghat - Ghangria (3000 m / 9810 ft.)

 

After breakfast, the day begins with a drive to Govindghat, from where the trek begins. Lunch enroute.The path is well made, with lot of tea shops and basic amenities throughout right uptill Ghangaria. Arrive and relax in the hotel. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 04 : Ghangria - Valley of flower (3300 m /10790 ft.) - Ghangria

 

The trail to Valley of Flowers bifurcates just above Ghangria. The trail continues and descends to the bridge over River Pushpawati. From here the trail winds up for about less than a kilometer before it gets slightly gradual towards the valley. The core Valley starts at Bamin Dhaur and continues towards the Tipra glacier at a distant. The altitude of valley varies from 3200 m to 5500 m. There are over 500 species of Botanical plants in the area. Afternoon return to Ghangria which is a pleasure walk. Lunch,dinner & overnight in the hotel

 

Day 05 : Ghangria - Hemkund Sahib (4250 m /13896 ft.) - Ghangria

 

The day begins with a steep ascend of 6 km to the lake of Hemkund Sahib. It's a total ascend and takes around 3 hrs. Visit the holy shrines of Guru Gobind Singh and Lokpal temple by the Lake. Afternoon trek back to Ghangria for lunch.Dinner & overnight in hotel.

 

Day 06 : Ghangria - Govindghat - Rudraprayag

 

It's an easy descend to Govindghat and takes about 4 hrs. From here board the vehicles and drive to the town of Rudraprayag. Overnight in the hotel.

 

Day 07 : Rudraprayag - Rishikesh

 

The day's drive is really gorgeous towards Rishikesh. The scenes driving down the valley are equally beautiful. Arrive, check into the hotel and overnight stay.

 

Day 08 : Rishikesh - Haridwar - Delhi

 

In the morning transfer to Haridwar and from here catch an AC train for Delhi. Arrival in Delhi by afternoon . Disperse.
